The Pervasive Mindset

Societies are shaped by the pervasive mindset: the culture.

This mindset is the crucial element that defines and influences what is possible. It sets expectations about what is impossible.

Many of the problems we’re facing in our world can be associated with a pervasive mindset of fear and modest-to-low expectations. Sadly, this narrative is often thrust upon us.

But, what if we choose something better? What if we chose to collectively dream bigger? What if we committed to treating everyone with love and respect? What if we changed our mindsets are possible and impossible? What if we held each other to higher standards while simultaneously respecting one another to allow for error.

“Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right”

-Henry Ford

Look, I get it. You’re probably sitting there saying “Jeff, these are nice ideas. Of course we should do these things…but it’ll never happen.”

And you know what, you’re probably right.

Think about that.
