I just got back from a 13-day trip in Japan with my wife and kids.
I also just had an comment on Threads get more attention than anything else I’ve ever posted there. It actually inspired someone to print a t-shirt quoting me.
So, here are the three most important sentences I could think to write today.
- Let every encounter with different cultures remind you that there are countless ways to do something, and imprint upon you the truth that fact reveals: differences aren’t inherently wrong.
- The definition of an excuse is: a reason someone else won’t accept as valid enough.
- You cannot empower someone if you do not have the power, resources, or ability to change their material circumstances.
