Three Sentences: Part 2

I just got back from a 13-day trip in Japan with my wife and kids.

I also just had an comment on Threads get more attention than anything else I’ve ever posted there. It actually inspired someone to print a t-shirt quoting me.

So, here are the three most important sentences I could think to write today.

  1. Let every encounter with different cultures remind you that there are countless ways to do something, and imprint upon you the truth that fact reveals: differences aren’t inherently wrong.
  2. The definition of an excuse is: a reason someone else won’t accept as valid enough.
  3. You cannot empower someone if you do not have the power, resources, or ability to change their material circumstances.
