Not “need” as in: food, water, and shelter.
Need, as in: what do you really need in your life?
One of the easiest ways to answer this is to move.
As you’re bubble wrapping your shot glasses from Charleston, cleaning out the back of your fridge and packing boxes full of miscellaneous little knickknacks, you’ll have a renewed sense of clarity about how much stuff you have, that you don’t actually need.
At the risk of sounding like Marie Kondo, it probably is worth looking at everything in our lives and asking ourselves: does this bring me joy?
Or at the very least, maybe ask ourselves: do I really need this?
This is right where I am!
